long arm quilters
When I don’t I choose to hand or machine quilt my own quilts, I have an incredible team of women who are outstanding long arm quilters and know specifically how to handle the vintage fabrics used in my quilts. Together we work on the quilting designs to be sure the stitching complements the time frame of fabrics used. I’d like to introduce you to these fabulous and talented women: Cheryl Morgan, Vicky Murchinson Maloney, and Julie Patrick.

Cheryl Morgan
In 1990, Cheryl's future mother-in-law introduced her to quilting, sparking a passion that has led to her mastery of hand quilting, hand piecing, machine piecing, and appliqué.
In 2009 Cheryl and a friend started a longarm business where thousands of quilt s were quilted over the next 15 years.
Her award winning work has been displayed throughout the country and published in numerous books, magazines and periodicals.
Currently, Cheryl is working on her own quilts where she occasionally enters quilts shows.
Cheryl resides in Moundsville, WV. Currently Cheryl is not accepting any outside work.

Vicki Murchison Maloney

I've loved needlework for as long as I can remember. In 2007, I tried a longarm quilting machine at a show and instantly felt at home. That moment led me to leave a career in accounting and become a full-time longarm quilter in 2008.
My goal was always to create stitching that looked vintage and hand-done, adding the soft texture I admire in old quilts. I especially enjoyed combining vintage quilt tops with modern quilting designs.
Though I no longer quilt regularly for clients, I continue to finish my own quilts, keeping my love for the craft alive.

Julie Patrick
Based in the picturesque state of Vermont, Julie is a lifelong quilter whose passion for the craft began when she made her first quilt at just 12 years old. Since then quilting has been a constant thread in her life- both creativity and professionally. For the last 23 years Julie has specialized in longarm quilting, turning patchwork tops into finished treasures. Her love for quilting shines through in every stitch, and she continues to find joy and inspiration in helping others bring their quilt visions to life.
